The average burning time for gel candles is 13 hours per ounce of gel. So, a 10-ounce candle will typically burn for 130 hours.

The average burning time for soy candles is approximately 9 hours per ounce of soy.

How long can I burn my candle? top

It is highly recommended that you burn your candle no longer than 4-hour intervals. Allow two hours in between lightings to allow the contents to cool.

What happens to the embeds in the gel candle when the candle burns? top

All embeds will stay in place as the candle burns down. No flammable embeds are used in our products. Most of the embeds are made of glass. Those embeds not made of glass never come in contact with the wick. Those embeds that are made of parafin wax will melt with the gel.

Does the wick contain lead? top

No, I use only zinc core wicks for gel candles which conforms to most recent goverment standards.

Wicks used for soy candles are cotton braid.
